The main goal of the project that we achieved: to create a dream home for our clients on a plot with a drop of 15 meters, located on a beautiful mountain ridge.
Here, as with all projects in the United States, we had many limiting factors, such as the overall building footprint, the height of the site, the method of access to the site and other local regulations. But we still managed to create a project around all these restrictions, the concept of which is based on an unusual internal structure. We moved away from trivial planning solutions with long corridors and rooms on both sides and created complex multi-level zones with second light in the key areas of the master bedroom and living room, which evoke emotions thanks to the huge panoramic windows and the views from them.
Taking into account the surrounding Californian mountain context, we used only natural materials in the finishing: slate, metal, wood and concrete.
