In this project, the site features a blend of a half-century-old mixed forest and an open area with varied terrain. The main focus of the landscaping was to highlight key views from the main house through a series of terraces leading towards the reservoir.
The landscape design merges elements of traditional French formal gardens with modern Scandinavian-inspired, slightly organic landscaping. We incorporated perennial plants and designed a pathway system that offers long, scenic routes to explore the property. This approach seamlessly integrates the landscape with the house, reinforcing the architectural and planning philosophy behind the project, creating a natural extension of the home into its surroundings.
