This modern barn house combines classic design with innovative engineering solutions.
The house features a distinctive wooden rail on the roof, an unconventional choice from both a visual and technical standpoint. The untreated wood on the facade and roof will age naturally, enhancing its character.
Structurally, we opted for metal I-beams to carry the entire load, departing from typical barnhouse walls of expanded clay concrete. This choice also enabled a streamlined roof design without structural delays.
Panoramic windows on both sides illuminate the living room, filling the interior with natural light and creating a warm, open atmosphere.
